ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Belvoir Education & Sports Trust delivers sport-for-good programmes through school-based activities, holiday camps, and community outreach. These programmes target disadvantaged children (including those with SEND) and aim to improve physical and mental wellbeing, build life skills, and tackle issues such as rural isolation and inequality through sport and outdoor learning.
Countryside Education & Sport-Based Learning Programme
What it is:
A combined sport + outdoor learning programme delivered to children through schools and community groups.
Who it’s for:
Children (especially disadvantaged and SEND backgrounds)
Schools across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire
Aims:
Build confidence, resilience, and life skills
Improve physical activity and wellbeing
Connect young people with nature and rural environments
Holiday & Summer Camp Sport Programmes
What it is:
Structured sport and activity camps (e.g. summer camps).
Who it’s for:
Children aged roughly 5–12 (explicitly mentioned on the page)
Aims:
Provide accessible sport opportunities during school holidays
Support healthy lifestyles and social interaction
