Indoor rowing support for schools
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
British Rowing's schools offer helps teachers introduce indoor rowing from primary through secondary age, with games-based rowing movements for primary children and a well-rounded secondary programme of indoor games-based activity, competitions and on-water taster sessions through local clubs. Support includes the Your School Games indoor rowing hub with downloadable competition formats such as Ergo Warrior and RowAbility, a free one-hour online teacher training course and in-person training from Master Trainers, competition setup guides, and leasing of rowing machines for a small one-off fee. Schools in target areas, including Bristol, Fulham, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Nottingham, Stockton and Tynemouth, may receive further support from Project Activators. Schools can contact the growth team at Growth@britishrowing.org.
