Inclusive dance classes
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Flamingo Chicks is a charity providing inclusive dance experiences for disabled children and their families. Its 45-minute Flamingo Chicks classes combine creative dance, storytelling and sensory equipment for children aged 18 months to 18 years, with a pan-disability approach that caters for all needs in one session, including siblings and non-disabled children. It also runs Hatching Chicks baby sling ballet for new mums and babies (9 weeks to 1 year) and Flamingo Dance for grown-ups. Rather than bookable public sessions, classes and one-off workshops run in settings such as special schools, children's hospices and community organisations across the UK and online, and settings can request a free taster workshop via hello@flamingochicks.org.
