Chance to Shine Schools
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Chance to Shine's schools programme introduces hundreds of thousands of pupils to cricket each year in state primary and secondary schools across England and Wales. In over 4,000 state primary schools annually, qualified coaches teach cricket, physical and life skills, typically over a half-term, with a focus on schools with a higher than average proportion of pupils receiving free school meals. In secondary schools, coaches develop the leadership skills of young people aged 11-16 through taster sessions and a dedicated leadership programme.
