Arrows soft archery
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
Arrows is Archery GB's soft archery programme, a safe and fun way to introduce archery in schools, care homes, extracurricular clubs and at home using bows with a low draw weight and arrows fitted with child-friendly suction cups. Created for primary schools, the equipment and resources let teachers deliver archery in almost any school environment with no formal training required, while an Introduction to Soft Archery course and a Soft Archery Young Leaders Award for 14 to 19 year olds offer structured development. In care homes, hospitals and hospices, soft archery can be played from a chair or bed, supporting physical, mental and cognitive wellbeing for residents into their 90s. Enquiries are handled via the Archery GB contact form or staff directory.
