About the Organisation
WeSwim is a London charity (charity no. 1211157) that helps disabled adults to swim. It runs volunteer-led swimming clubs at nine pools across the city, including Barbican, Canada Water, Crouch End, Elephant & Castle, Tottenham Green and Vauxhall, improving physical activity, mental wellbeing and social connection.
About the Role
WeSwim is looking for an experienced, creative Fundraising Manager to lead the next stage of its fundraising growth. The focus is on building unrestricted income through community fundraising, individual giving and corporate partnerships.
The role is part time (22 to 30 hours a week), permanent and home-based, with some travel around London. The postholder will work closely with the CEO and the Volunteering Manager.
What You'll Do
Community fundraising
- Create an annual strategy and calendar of community fundraising challenges and campaigns
- Support fundraisers with resources and incentives
- Track performance and help with delivery
Supporters and individual giving
- Grow WeSwim's supporter community
- Develop individual and regular giving, with clear supporter journeys and stewardship
- Help shape fundraising messages across WeSwim's communications
Corporate partnerships
- Develop the corporate partnership offer and build a pipeline of prospects
- Grow longer-term partnerships, including sponsorship and employee fundraising
- Secure prizes, gifts in kind and pro bono expertise
New income
- Find and test new sustainable income ideas
- Build creative partnerships with disability, sport and community organisations
- Use data to review and improve fundraising activity

- Experience as a fundraiser, with a strategic and practical approach
- Creativity and flexibility
- Strong relationship-building skills and a commercial mindset
- A collaborative team player keen to build the charity's capacity
