About the Role
The Foundation is recruiting a Partnerships and Events Manager to lead and grow a key area of income generation. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, Events and Partnerships, you will run an integrated programme covering corporate partnerships, fundraising events and community fundraising.
You will build a pipeline of corporate supporters, create strong partnership opportunities and look after relationships that deliver long-term value for both partners and the Foundation. You will also oversee a portfolio of fundraising events, including the Rival Ride, Touch Tournament, Foundation Dinner and matchday fundraising, making sure each one gives supporters a great experience and raises as much as possible.
What You'll Do
Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of fundraising events and community fundraising activity
Develop and grow a pipeline of corporate partnership prospects that fit the Foundation's mission and programmes
Manage and steward a portfolio of corporate partners, including relationship management and impact reporting
Develop new opportunities around staff engagement, volunteering, payroll giving and sponsorship
Find ways to link up partnerships, events and community fundraising
Line manage and develop two members of the fundraising team
What They're Looking For
Essential
Strong partnership development and relationship-building skills
Event management experience
A commercially minded approach to fundraising
Enthusiasm for making a tangible difference to young people and communities through sport
Desirable
Current or previous experience in fundraising, partnerships, sponsorship, CSR, community engagement or events
