Burnley FC in the Community is the official charity of Burnley Football Club. It works across Burnley, Pendle and East Lancashire, using sport to support young people and communities through education, health, youth engagement and inclusion programmes.
About the Role
Burnley FC in the Community is looking for a Targeted Intervention Coordinator to deliver mentoring and targeted support for young people at risk. The role covers two programmes: It's Your Turf, a police partnership project, and Premier League Inspires. The postholder will deliver one-to-one interventions, group sessions and mentoring, and will manage the Premier League Inspires mentors.
The role is 35 hours a week (Monday to Friday) on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. It's based at Turf Moor and the Leisure Box in Brierfield, with work in schools and community settings.
What You'll Do
Interventions and mentoring
- Deliver high-quality one-to-one interventions, group sessions and mentoring for young people at risk
- Deliver the It's Your Turf police partnership project
- Deliver Premier League Inspires in schools and community settings

- Manage the Premier League Inspires mentors
What They're Looking For
Essential
- A full, clean driving licence and your own transport
- NVQ Level 3, A-Level or equivalent in youth work or community engagement
- Experience of delivering targeted interventions with young people at risk
- A track record of one-to-one and group work in schools or community settings
- Strong organisational and IT skills
